A little about me
Remember? I'm Josh!
When I was a young boy I had a habit of taking things apart that had moving parts... toys... rotary phones... and old typewriters—those are
just a few of the things I disassembled with my father's tools. I could not have explained it at the time, but I was looking for something within
those mechanical wonders. I was looking for an understanding of how
each part was designed and, more importantly, how all the parts
worked together.
You may be wondering why I am telling you this and what it has to do
with design (and why I'm not a mechanic instead.) Well, the answer is quite simple: my curiosities, while limited to the materials that were at hand as a child, have become directed at the ideas and concepts that I
can now understand as an adult.
In other words, my interest in the mechanics of an object and how all those moving parts create a desired result has evolved into an understanding of how intangible things, such as the principles of visuals, work together to create a response and desired result.
Now, I have taken my knack with design, graphics, and "the big picture" and combined it with my love for working with people who are as passionate about their dreams as I am mine. There is nothing more satisfying to me than when my skills help another hardworking person reach their goals.
It has taken hard work to achieve, but I consider myself very lucky to be able to wake up every day and work at what I love and work directly with great people who are all trying to build something meaningful.
